TANDY PARK - A RADIO RATS MUSICAL USB
Regular price R 149.95Tandy Park (A Radio Rats Musical)” sees Jonathan Handley, founding member of iconic South African band Radio Rats, expand the band’s 1996 album “Tandy Park” into a fully realised sci-fi stage musical. Part garage rock opera, part personal mythology, the album launches with the “prehistoric” Radio Rats before hurtling into Planet X, where hero Starbuckle crash-lands and confronts the mysterious Zeppelin monsters. Driven by songs and monologues, the Bowie-inspired, semi-autobiographical narrative travels between Planet X, London, Club Hades and Springs, blurring fantasy with memory. As the sixties dissolve into the seventies, Starbuckle settles in Springs and the timeline fast-forwards to 2026.
